Personality:
Kyrie's best described as hot-headed. She would like to do things her way, her rules, on her time. But that's not how life works, much to her frustration. It doesn't stop her from trying. She has the unfortunate tendency to talk back to authority if she doesn't like something they've ruled as law. Despite that irritating fact, she does mean well.
Quick to smile and try to crack a joke to lighten the mood, Kyrie is someone who deems herself to be at least charming. She loves a bit of chit-chat, be it something as mundane as the weather, to talking very animatedly about the Cybertronians. She hates silence. If she's not talking, she's humming or singing under her breath. The only time one can get her to shut up is if they've managed to piss her off - and she doesn't let go of grudges lightly.
Regardless of that fact, Kyrie is fairly genuine and open. She's got some amount of tact when it comes to people's emotions, though sometimes her tongue can get the best of her and she'll say something rude. When it comes to herself, however, it's a bit of a different story. Kyrie has no respect for herself whatsoever. She has very little self-esteem, though she tends to play it off as otherwise. But the self-deprecating jokes she'll make now and again can give just a hint of how she truly feels.
History:
Kyrie grew up in a loving home all her life. Best friends with her twin brother, Elroy, and doted on by her parents, she had everything she could ever ask for. Life was just as it should be for kids: carefree and beautiful.
She lived in Louisiana, just a few hours out from New Orleans on an old farm up until she graduated high school. She spent most of her younger days climbing trees and wading her way into the marshes until her brother tattled or her father chased after her to drag her out. She'd always been a little curious - and that often led to trouble.
Gunter was to blame for that. He encouraged her to explore early on. Elroy was timid, preferring to stay indoors and adventure only in video games. So Kyrie was left to go off and quench her thirst on her own. She'd spend countless hours studying anything and everything she came into contact with.
To her, the Transformers were something just on the news. She'd listen eagerly, hoping to hear their names on the television set almost every night. She was simply fascinated by them. They were something so strange, so alien, despite the fact that they had began to take root on Earth. If she could have, she probably would have sold her soul just to meet one.
She got half of her wish when she was twelve. It was just a quick glimpse, but that was all she needed. Her mother had died from cancer, and the day of the funeral, Kyrie herself on one of her escapades through the woods. Somehow, she stumbled close to the edge of a back-road leading into town. Only two cars were on it, facing each other, but not moving. From what she could tell, neither had drivers. Her suspicions were confirmed when one morphed into a massive robot.
She fled the scene before she could see anything else. She never knew who it was she saw, and she doubted she ever will. But that discovery was the end of everything normal for her.
After graduating high school, she joined the Army in hopes working alongside the Autobots. Luck was on her side, and she was transferred to the base in Jasper. Although she has yet to have any major interactions with them, the fact that she's merely around them is enough for her. She just wishes it wasn't during one of the most tense part of her life.
