“Hm, don’t let my faded, scratched up insignias fool you. I went neutral after I discovered everything changed, so your oxymoron is pretty much void.” Sideswipe explained, glancing down at the Autobot insignias he once wore with pride. But given peace was here and the factions and achieved what they set out to do he saw no reason to bear the mark any longer. “But I would bet all my shanix to see an Insecticon babysit a single day.” He smirked slightly.
Sideswipe took a moment to observe Knock Out when he stated he could handle himself, figuring someone didn’t work with the Decepticons without having some backbone. Nodding, Sideswipe left on a final note, “Well, you don’t get around the Cons unless you know how to defend yourself in some way. Know from experience before he went all twisted and bloodthirsty.” The red warrior shook his head in disappointment, “Use to think the Decepticons had the best of intentions, but guess we both learned.” He observed, pushing himself to his feet as Windstrike seemed opt to listen, watching his partner-in-crime closely as he took a few minutes to move about and testing his side.
He listened to Knock Out as the Doctor suggested a hobby, chuckling softly then, “I work as a blacksmith in my spare time, just hard to do it for long periods before I go looking for new clients. The industrial cities are some of my top customer locations.” Sideswipe spoke as he slowly turned and bent his body, nodding to himself when he was sure the wound was taken care of. Once finished he fully turned his attentions to Knock Out, giving a grateful look towards the former Con, “I’ll make sure to leave my com number then. Bright yellow paint job and snobby attitude, you really can’t miss him.” Sideswipe told him, partially grinning as he knew Sunstreakee would get him one day for all the smartass remarks at his expense.
“Hey, we all have our preferences. Forms a little bulky for my tastes, but you work it well.” Sideswipe agreed, gesturing with his thumb then, “I chose a compromise of a jetpack. Used it well enough during the war to handle the fliers. Don’t need a flight mode to show the jets one hell of a rough time.” Sideswipe spoke smugly.
