Weaponry/Special Abilities:
+Retractable Blades/Prime Decepticon Hunter: At his disposal, Orion has a choice of two types of blades. One is a pair of retractable thermo-swords that replaces his old, damaged ones from the war. These shift out from housing in his arms rather than taking the place of his hands and are hot enough to slice through most materials. Secondly, Orion still retains the weapon gifted to him by the Primes, a blade that can be seen in the picture above that allows Orion to use it as a regular two-pronged blade or can have the additional use of electricity coursing through the blade, which can also generate electrical energy attacks both in the shape of crescent blades or lightning-like blasts.
+Ion Gatling Gun:Optimus' main long-range weapon of choice that fires a wave of radiation condensed into an energy balls that is known to exceptionally strong against most opponents, more than capable of even damaging Megatron. This weapon is usually stored upon his back. There is also a secondary feature that Optimus can fire explosive physical bullets, although he only ever deploys a few of these as they can be far more destructive.
+Fist "Claws": When out of all other options or in need of a little surprise, Optimus has a pair of retractable claw-like weapons hidden beneath his hand plating. These are about as long as his fingers, being flat but sharp at the tips and can be deployed at any time to give Optimus' punches a little more deadly force.
+Arm Shield/Aerobolt (Mini-con companion): On his left arm, Optimus has recently reunited with Weaponizer Aerobolt, an avianoid hawk-like mini-con whom he has come to trust as much as he does Hi-Test and his friends. This bird has two forms: a shield enabling him to powerlink with Optimus, triggering a surge that makes him stronger, more durable, and quicker reflexes in which blue energy lines appear at random across his form. The mini’s secondary form is that of a chest plate, causing Optimus to take on a winged, armor state, enabling him to fly, become strong and more durable, have quicker reflexes, and far more maneuverable but severely drains his energy after.
+Jet pack/glider wings: Optimus has a jet pack and glider wing combo, used for flight and the wings used for stability and steering. These enable Optimus to fly fast enough to keep up with the likes of Starsccream and Soundwave in flight and can sat times increase his jumps and distance when needed.
+Exo-Skeletal Armor Changes: A trick Orion learned from his times training under the guidance of his former brethren. Orion can scan unique structure or vehicle colorations to alter his own armor colors, using this method and technique to better blend in via camo. It also serves an excellent purpose to confuse his enemies.
+Hi-Test(Minicon companion): Hi-Test was once a minicon created by Soundwave, once a minion intended to steal the Decepticon hunters from Team Bee and forcing Steeljaw and his pack to work for the former Decepticon. Now, the blue mech has come out of binding some eighty years ago under the protection of Optimus, becoming his companion and assistant. Though still mute, the two converse most often telepathically and share an extremely close bond as equals, mostly that of a symbiotic bond. But, Hi-Test is a particularly special minicon known as an Activator, triggering a temporary upgrade of a “battle mode” in those he links with as a sort of cassette shape an with Optimus causes hidden cannons to shift it from on the sides and top of his trailer and top of his vehicle form while the front end and top of his vehicle form and the tires all extend and lower, making him almost a low riding big rig. Thanks to Hi-Test, this gives him a temporary boost in speed, durability, and power in both modes but the weapons are only triggered in vehicle mode.

Personality: There is much to a mech such as Optimus. First, Optimus is a deeply compassionate and caring type. Not only does he care for the Cybertronians and humans he's gotten to know and family, but also expresses a great deal of compassion and care towards all forms of life. Despite being a big, strong, powerful Cybertronian, even enough to give Ironhide a run for his shanix, the Prime is surprisingly gentle and tender, seeming always highly aware of just how much damage he can cause if he isn't careful. It is this aspect of Optimus that has not only made it possible for others to get along with him so well but is something admired by many under his leadership.
What really stands out is how much Optimus truly contrasts to Megatron. Compared to his formerly corrupt friend, the red and blue mech is level headed and calm, being able to keep his cool and keep himself collected in some of the most dire situations. At least, for the most part. He is firm and often stern when necessary but is also just as fair and willing to listen to reason, always trying to see the bigger picture before him and consider the pros and cons. Optimus also has an indomitable will and an unshakeable loyalty, and has a deep belief in fairness and justice for all forms of life. Some even describe Optimus being quite open minded and trusting, almost to the point of being too trusting from time to time.
But, even a good sparked bot such as Optimus Prime has his down sides. For one, Optimus has been known to still take risks and press his own luck, viewing himself no different to his fellow Autobots. He is just as likely to talk out strategy and tactics as he is likely to take things into his own hands without telling a soul of what he is planning while at other times he will improvise a plan, coordinating with others as a situation progresses. In such situations as combat or dire situations, Optimus expresses a calculating but serious side, knowing when the time calls for humor and when its time to get down to business; though Prime himself has never been above giving sarcastic quips or dishing out some jokes to lighten the mood.
Yet, the years of a seemingly unending war has taken its toll on Optimus, sometimes which is visible and other times he is more than capable of carefully hiding. Optimus has begun to doubt his own efforts and feeling ever more responsible for the loss of life over the years, stemming from his inability to handle the problems that caused the war, especially his former friend Megatron. Such things weigh heavily on his spark and sometimes haunts the Prime to the point he becomes restless and distant, lingering on the past and dreading the future, even in the current peace. His faith has more than been shaken a time or two over the tragedies in his life. His trust has also been tested a time or two, with the weakness in Optimus willing to give others the benefit of the doubt coming back to bite him in the aft.
So, to say the least, Optimus' personality has been a balance of his usual self and his darker emotions. He's coming to realize risks are necessary and sometimes has shown to take a darker personality when the battle is heated or his loved ones are in danger, going to a state of battle lust and rage not often seen in Optimus before. Now, it seems to be slowly becoming a regular occurrence
History: The mech known as Orion Pax and later Optimus Prime has been through two lifetimes worth of experiences most could only ever hope to experience. Once the original Thirteenth and youngest Prime during ancient times, Optimus only vaguely recalls the ups and downs of that period in Cybertron’s history, having once banned together with his brethren to end Unicron and later helping to make Cybertron what it would be today. But what was once a utopia was eventually disturbed by that of Liege Maximo and his trickery, causing a rift in the Primes when Megatronus was pushed to the brink of slaughtering his sparkmate, Solus Prime in cold blood. After, things were never the same and the Thirteenth Prime opted to go into the well to be reborn.
His wish would be granted as he emerged centuries later as Orion Pax, having no prior memory of his past life or his once great exploits. From there, Optimus has known both peace and darkness, having come from humble new beginnings as an Archivist under his former close friend Alpha Trion, now a part of the Well himself during the course of the war, to a soldier and eventually military commander he was not expecting to take. Optimus was one of the catalysts for change, from his friendship and eventual rift with Megatron to the Exodus that he painfully insisted was necessary. Since then, Optimus has faced many trials as the new, and sometimes said to be the one true, Prime; this has ranged from seeking the Allspark he ha since hidden away from Decepticon clutches to defending Earth, their allies, and discovering the relics. All the while, Optimus found himself charismatic and influential, inspiring many to fight for their freedoms and rights to live a better life than they had known.
These trials have shaped and affected Optimus greatly even to this day. And thus, since the defeat of Cyclonus and his team, who had attempted a coup to bring Cybertron to its knees, things have returned to being peaceful. Feeling the world did not need a leader forged in violence and struggle, Optimis gave a final order for Jazz, Windblade, and Ratchet to act as the new High Council while Cybertron considered what sort of leadership and governing body they wanted. From there, the past hundred years have been both quiet and fulfilling in more positive ways. Optimus took over as being the Archivist of Cybertron in place of his late mentor and dear friend, reunited with the Activator Hi-Test, and adopted a human boy by the name of Dylan Logan with a troubled past. The two met when Optimus opted to volunteer his time elsewhere for the good of Cybertron, volunteering in historical records and creating and supporting certain programs, especially the integration of human-Cybertronian societies and supporting those who could not help themselves. Thus, he happened to meet Dylan who he was firm but patient with, developing a bond he was not expecting to.
After sometime, Optimus officially adopted Dylan as his own and now is a proud father and grandfather, content with his current role and how society had turned out. But in the wake of the recent assassination and troubling actions by unruly neutrals and Decepticons, Optimus feels the tug of the Matrix and the call to return to duty, something he dreads may happen sooner than he had hoped.
