D’Vorah
————————————
Name: D’Vorah
Nicknames: Dee Dee, Rah, Medusa
Age: 4 million years old
Faction: Neutral
Rank: Fortune Teller in the streets of Koan
Alternate Form: None
Primary Residence: Koan, Cybertron
———————————
Weaponry/Special Abilities:
Special Abilities:
• Shapeshifter: Rather than possessing a vehicle mode of her own this femme was blessed with the ability of shape shifting. She can scan another Cybertronian, regardless of size, and take their form. However this does come with certain limitations. In order to become the perfect copy she will attain the subjects physical flaws. Whether this be lack of strength, fragility, or even a disability. She is also incapable of using her subject’s alt-mode. This ability also isn’t permanent, eventually the disguise will cost to much energy to uphold and she will have to drop the facade.
• Premonition: D’Vorah has an uncanny gift for telling the future, and reading into a bot’s past. While she typically keeps this gift to herself as to not infringe on the privacy of others. She sees the many fates that can befall a bot, more specifically the most likely.
• Mental abilities: The mind of another is like a book, and can be easily read. Though some bots are harder to read than others. D’Vorah cannot project into the mind of another, but she can read the thoughts of a willing or weak minded bot if she so desired. Though this does come with a risk of a processor aches. That and forced entry into any mind would cause both parties mental distress.
Weapons:
• Fangs: D’Vorah was created with naturally sharp canines. These sharp denta are more than just for show. When sunk into a bot is causes paralysis which only lasts a few minutes, long enough for her to get away, or make a quick snake of her assailant. Despite her small frame D’Vorah is an energon guzzler do to her unique talents, she needs energon and lots of it, her fangs just offer her second option if need be.
• Medusa: The tendrils attached to her helm are more than just for show. These snake-like cables can extend and retract at her will and have small snake-like heads attached to the ends of them. These little critters are each fitted with rows of sharp teeth for tearing into a victim (think scraplets), though she keeps them under control and well fed. However, this makes melee combat of any sort with the femme rather dangerous.
• Energon pistol
Holoform: None
Any Team Affiliations?: Raider’s Traveling Circus
Notable Partners:
• Raider
• Luna
———————————
Family: Members of the circus (now deceased sans Risa)
Significant Other: None
Likes:
• Sweets: D’Vorah is a femme with an insatiable sweet tooth, the same goes for her scaley pals. She often fills her time, when not working, with making delectable little treats and selling them to the Koan locals.
• Younglings: She adores younglings, especially because their lives have barely begun. She loves to peer into the futures of younglings to see long, happy lives ahead of them. It gives her hope to know that despite the unrest currently going on, that the future will eventually become bright once more. It gives her peace of mind that the future remains in such young capable hands. Besides, sparklings are adorable.
• Humor: Despite her off putting appearance this femme is a fan of jokes. D’Vorah often makes humorous jokes and jests at other bots, she is quite fluent in sarcasm and has earned a master’s degree in wit.
• Humans/Organics: Small and squishy, yet strong and durable. Humans, much like her own kind are weavers of their own fates, or at least feel like they are. She admires humans and their culture.
• The sun: Having spent much of her life before the circus shrouded in darkness the femme enjoys the light and warmth of the sun.
Dislikes:
• War/Civil unrest: The future is dark, foggy and unsure. It fills her with anxiety knowing that the storm will come and ravage their homeland once more. Though it is unsure if their homeland will be able to recover a second time.
• Factions: D’Vorah always found it foolish that members of the same species divide themselves into different factions. It creates an us versus them mentality, as well as a hatred for anyone who chose not to pick a side, something she knows all too well.
• Her own future: Her third eye can see the futures of many, however, it is blind to her own. To have such a large part of her hidden from her is cause for worry.
• Fighting: D’Vorah can fight, but is hardly a warrior.
• Power-hungry Bots: She had seen this time and time again, and the end results are nearly all the same. It is a pity for such talents and ambitions to be wasted in the pursuit of power.
Personality: (At least one well-written paragraph)
D’Vorah can easily be described as an oddball with a strange appearance to match. She is quiet and sarcastic, often dryly teasing others and making wisecracks. She enjoys spooking others with her uncanny abilities and odd appearance, though she is far from malicious. Calm and easygoing are often used to describe D’Vorah. Her time with the circus has taught her much in the art of humility and generosity. Lady-like and amiable (for the most part) the femme is well liked by the other Kaonian residents. However, she can be less than pleasant when hungry. While energon deficiency causes dizziness, drowsiness, and nausea in most of her kind, it makes D’Vorah more feral. While she isn’t a cannibal she does exhibit cannibalistic tendencies when on low energon, though she does try her best to keep it under control it is advised to be wary of her in this state. In this state she is violent, and easily irritated.
History:
D’Vorah was a femme who was built rather than born. Many eons ago when Cybertron was young and the species was in its infancy their passed oppressors came up with an idea. To ensure their rule over her kind they sought to build, not a weapon, but a device of sorts. One that would be able to show them the future so that they may plan and counter any possible rebellions. D’Vorah was that device. Made in her master’s image, but still normal enough to fit in with Cybertronian-kind somewhat, a freakish hybrid. A tool to her creators and a strange hybrid to Cybertronians. And thus began her years upon years of servitude. Kept inside a grand ship never to see the light of day. Until the faithful day she did.
From their ship, while being escorted to a newer area, she saw it. Cybertron, with the sun glistening just behind it. She had never seen something so beautiful. Slowly but surely she began to desire freedom from the Quintessons, and one faithful day she did. When she gazed into the future she saw Cybertronians rise against their masters and eventually defeat them. Instead of giving this information to the Quintessons she chose to lie and say that the next few years would be quiet a peaceful. When the unrest came to the point that the Quintessons had to leave Cybertron the femme made her move to abandon them. However, she was not greeted on Cybertron with open arms.
Her kind had put a system in place, a caste system, one of which she would be placed at the very bottom. Due to her lack of alt-mode and Quintesson-like appearance the femme was tossed away with the other lower caste bots. Unhappy with how her kind chose to operate she left the civilized world and instead took residence in the Koriolis desert. She remained there for many years until she met a bright mech named Raider. He claimed to be traveling the world in search of a purpose. She saw a prosperous future for the mech, who intern found her fortune telling gifts to be marvelous. Convinced to return back to regular society the pair planned on starting the first ever traveling circus.
D’Vorah and the circus troop lived exciting and happy lives until she saw a darkness fall over Cybertron, a deadly one. Wary of the incoming danger, and the unsureness of her own fate, the femme begged the others to come with her off world. Unable to convince the others of just how unsafe they were D’Vorah sadly left without them.
D’Vorah has since returned back to Koan, pleased to see her planet doing well again. Life has become quiet in her little shop in downtown Koan, though she knows this peace will not last. It never does.
