Oracle
————————————
Name: Oracle
Nicknames: n/a
Age: Pffft, absolutely no clue, what's the 3 million+ equivalent? Let's say young adult cuz he was a popsicle for most of his life
Faction: Decepticon
Rank: Coward (Former)
Alternate Form: Sukhoi Su-47
Primary Residence: Cybertron
———————————
Weaponry/Special Abilities:
EMG Rifle: A coilgun that accelerates rounds at incredible speeds, this simple gun is surprisingly quiet. Compared to other rifles and energy weapons the coilgun has a relatively slow cycling rate, relying on accuracy rather than firing speed. It can fire either armor piercing or high explosive rounds.
Missile Racks: Eight missiles in total, four concealed in each forearm. Carrying a blast/fragmentation hybrid warhead, Oracle's missiles are not to be underestimated. These missiles require a lock on period, but they can be blind-fired if necessary.
Energy Pistol: A fully automatic pistol worn on the hip. The weapon packs a punch for its small size and simple design, shredding armor at close range.
Knife: If for whatever reason, Oracle finds himself in need of a knife's utility, he carries a simple blade behind his waist.
Outlier Gift: Oracle was lucky enough to be one of the few with an outlier ability. Oracle is able to sense vibrations in the air, like a sixth sense. His ability can't be turned off and can be focused for varying degrees of intensity. For example, when not actively to use it, Oracle wouldn't have any trouble sensing people or objects in his immediate vicinity. When actively "listening" he can detect more subtle movements, and when absolutely focused he could probably feel specific parts working, hear someone's brain module fizzle or their fuel pump pumping. As a result he has near perfect spacial awareness at all times, this is a blessing in battle and in one on one combat, where he can sense every movement of his opponent. However his ability has a few obvious weaknesses. Firstly, loud noises or anything causing vibrations. Depending on the intensity of the vibrations and the level of focus, Oracle could experience anywhere from subconscious annoyance to debilitating agony. He's trained himself to be able to deal with most sounds a cybertronian is capable of producing, so someone shouting at him wouldn't be a problem, but a path blaster going off next to his head is a different issue. Another problem is that in space or a vacuum there are fewer particles around to move, requiring more effort to detect vibrations.

History: Oracle was forged during the great war, when Cybertron was war. He first came online in Helix, during the rise of the Decepticons, when Worldsweeper ships literally displayed the Decepticon symbol above his head. Oracle was quickly offered a choice as soon as he became battle ready, side with Megatron, or be labeled an Autobot and killed. Young and impressionable, he heeded the call, being swooned by their leader's words. Oracle's first battle was quick and easy, the first Vorsk Offensive, but his second was an unfortunate one. The Decepticons called it Operation: Red Peace, the Autobots called it Operation: Simanzi Dawn. Everyone else called it the Simanzi Massacre, and a massacre it was. Oracle was deployed during the height of the battle, but before the ground started burning. He faced the battle head on, but the very air around him had felt like it was screaming. It was horrible, like Cybertron itself was begging for mercy. In the chaos, the only face he could make out was Fortress Maximus, and the piece of slag was smiling. Oracle ran. He ran from Simanzi with a few cons from his squad and they never looked back, until they ended up on The List. The DJD took their time finding them, there were much more important targets to deal with, but they found Oracle and his friends eventually. Once again, Oracle was given a choice, become a K-Class by force, or be tortured to death by the DJD. The brave ones tried to face down Tarn and his executioners, the cowards opted to become living bombs. But cowards live, right?
Oracle was taken and placed in a stasis chamber to await K-Class conversion. However, the territory the base was built under was taken by the autobots, so the scientists and the engineers left. They left the cowards behind, leaving them for dead, leaving them for the Autobots. The Autobots never came, in fact, nobody did. For thousands of years the base was left powering nothing but the few stasis chambers remaining. One by one, the chambers switched offline, Oracle figured the others had simply given up. But in his pod he was given plenty of time to think. He reflected on what he'd done, and he hated himself. Hated that he'd run, hated that he'd volunteered to be thrown out of some ship, hated that he was such a coward. He hated that he'd made the right call. So he made himself a promise, just two words. He would never run from a battle when it could still be won, he would never choose some fragile, hollow life over death. He was eventually set free by scavengers, deserters, who'd found the secret base. Oracle killed them. They didn't even try to fight back as he ripped their sparks out of their chests and smashed their brain modules in his palm. It was a mindless act of violence. It was the most selfish, logic-less thing he'd ever done, and he hated it. But he needed to prove to himself that he would keep his promise. That he understood the lesson, understood what he'd been forced to learn.
Never again.
(I know there's a fair bit of MTMTE stuff in here, that's cuz i just finished the series, so lemme know if anything doesn't work with the plot :) )
