It didn't take working optics to sense the mech's injuries. The Hopeknaught had done quite a number one him, evidently her newfound ally was not nearly as durable as she or her opponent. She could smell the fresh wounds and the slightly melted bits of his exposed metal mesh. The smell made her cringe a bit, though the stench lacked the particular sting of an infected wound. He was wounded, but so long as it stayed free of infection he would remain online. The revelation did bring a small comfort to the femme. She didn't know this mech, but she owed him her life.
She flinched a bit under his touch though she did quickly relax. This mech had just saved her, what would he gain from trying to kill her now? Not to mention that even in her state she was not entirely defenseless. She turned her attention to the Hopeknaught, he hadn't moved during this whole ordeal since he had hit the power line, much to her delight. It was like there was a weight lifted from her shoulders. She had successfully carried out her mission as well as slain her own personal boogeyman. Though the revelation didn't exactly bring a smile to her face.
Raising a servo to her audio receptor she pressed against her comm link.
"Master, the job is done, the Hopeknaught is offline. Master? Backfire?" The femme pulled her servo away when she was greeted with the sound of static. Scrap, the shock must've severed my connection to Master. Her claws pawed the camera strapped to her chest. Nothing's coming through this either.
Amura perked up as the mech aided her to her peds, much to her surprise. He was much gentler than she thought he would be. She couldn't remember the last time she was handled gently. Bowing her helm she uttered a few words of thanks. He's leading me away from here. Perhaps somewhere with a medic, Primus knows I need one.
Wordlessly the femme followed the mech through the GroundBridge, her claws flexed ever so slightly as she stepped through. Whatever happens next, I'll be ready.
