Sideswipe has merely crouched when he slid down, shifting his weight when he needed to adjust himself slightly and mantis into his balance until the ground leveled out. Once it did, he finally stood, casting light around the tunnel once more as Windstrike dropped from his back onto more solid ground again. Shortly there after, Amusa soon joined them.
Her enjoyment over the ride caused the warrior to smile slightly, glad to see at least one of them could find some joy in doing something. “Yea we made it fine, feet will be a little muddy but other than that we’re good.” Sideswipe alone up near her, moving closer so she had an idea how far apart they were. The tunnel was definitely far from where the two mechs likely would have even looked before, taking out the hilt of his weapon as Amura began to locate the tungsten once more. He had to admit though, he senses were impressive especially with the possibility of other scents within the cave might overpower them. Amazingly that didn’t appear to be the case.
Moving closer to where she had indicated; Sideswipe activated his weapon again, the hard light blade casting a red glow for the two and giving off a faint warmth even Amura could feel due to their close proximity. “Depends on who you ask.” Sideswipe began, carefully pressing the blade into the dirt, disturbing it only just enough to leave the mark he needed, also noting the distance between the marking and the incline they had come from. “For me, it’s always been a calling, a purpose. It can be exciting, facing an opponent who you have no idea how skilled they might be or what they might do, your spark always pounding in your chest when you’re in the thick of combat. It’s almost like a dangerous dance to me, trusting my body to know how to react and move without thinking and knowing I have the skills to do almost anything, to handle an obstacle when it comes my way.” Sideswipe seemed quite enthused on the subject as finished making his mark and lowered his sword.
Turning to face Amura, the grin on his face practically could be heard on his voice, “Being a warrior you kind of learn things some aren’t so keen to, weapons, combat skills, tactics, it’s all part of an intriciate art. It can be rough and bloody I admit, but your possibilities seem endless as a warrior.”
