After her talk with Arcee a few days ago, Sierra was eager to finally try unlocking her other half, the Cybertronian side that remained trapped beneath her very human self. Knowing of this side and a little bit of her heritage, it was hard not to feel only half of an individual. She felt a void in the person she was, as if her other half was neglected and was waiting to be released.
Today, Sierra intended to try and unlock that side of herself, or at least gain control of it to do so.
In an effort to do so, Sierra had come out to the ruins of the old Autobot base where she felt few or no one would bother her. Within what use to be the control center, the teenager was focusing on her ability first, projecting the force field she had become aware of for over a year first, feeling that energy it drew from her spark to start getting a feeling for what had previously been kept hidden. Once she began to focus on the rhythmic pulse of her spark, Sierra’s force field disappeared and she could begin focusing on the Cybertronian aspect of her body. It should be a natural feeling, second nature as Arcee put it. There was very little thought to the process and it seemed to make sense the same could count for hybrids like herself.
However, after an hour and a half of trying to make progress, only having slight shifts in her form over that time, she finally called it quits for the time being and flopped down. Wiping sweat from her brow, Sierra gave a deep breathe as she decided to take that time to regain her strength, drinking from a water bottle she had brought along, “So much for progress, this is harder than I expected it to be.” She mumbled in frustration, unaware she was not as alone as she thought.
