Weaponry/Special Abilities:
+Fist Pile Drivers: Since he was young, Wedge has been equipped with mechanisms in his arms that act as pile drivers. These pile drivers can extend about three to four feet away and can be adjusted in terms of speed and power behind them. Due to this, it can be noted that Wedge's arm armor is particularly reinforced and durable.
+Energon Auger: Granted to him by the Sparksayer artifact, Wedge can use a particularly strong tool that is empowered as any energon weapon for digging, tearing through barriers, and can act as a weapon. It has since been modified to strengthen its abilities by Hoist, small saw-like teeth added to the blades and has additional features of thermo and cryo for heating and cooling based on the situation.
+Axle Hammer: Being older, Wedge has a modified version of a hammer made from the front axle of his vehicle mode being roughly half his size height wise and fits to his hand-to-hand, heavyweight fighting style.
+Mul-T-Cog: Like the rest of the original recruiting class, Wedge has a blue emblem that influences his t-cog to take on multiple forms, at least three vehicle forms or three forms in general.

Personality: In his younger years, Wedge was quite the excitable and determined little bot. He was your over-achieving, teacher’s pet sort with a stubborn but determined streak. Everything was about going the extra mile and giving his hundred percent on everything. In fact, Wedge was almost strict by the rules, but also had his moments of being energetic and a fanboy, even obsessively so.
But, Wedge has since mellowed out considerably. He is still one to put all his efforts and energy into something, still displaying a deep dedication to his work. At times this almost borders on being a workaholic but he is far less strict and arrogant than he once was. Now, he is far calmer and humorous, his once hard shell broken to allow himself to relax and not be so by the book. Though, that hasn’t stopped him from still being a rule follower and trying to follow protocol, but also knows when to be flexible during a rescue. His time with the Rescue Bots has taught to be more relaxed and not dwell on the past, especially the trauma and fears of being a Decepticon. Although, he does get annoyed and come off as brash at times, but it usually takes more than petty antics these days.
Nevertheless, Wedge has learned from his mistakes, and is quite the compassionate, and social bot most can approach and get along with. He is now quite humble and modest, usually taking praise with without boasting. Though, there is also a part of Wedge that is exceptionally attentive and quick witted, knowing how to adapt despite certain shortcomings and clever even if he isn’t always the smartest mech. In the long run, Wedge has also come to embrace his Decepticon heritage, viewing it as the foundation to what he has become and feels a need to prove not all his faction are maniacs and tyrants. As the first Decepticon Rescue Bot, he is eager to prove his mettle, expressing a deep love and respect for all life, including humans, even if there are some trauma that still afflicts him.
History:
Wedge is part of the newer, more recent generations of Cybertronians born from the reignited Well. However, his newly cultivated spark and a handful of other were stolen and placed into photonic crystals by a Decepticon radical medic who slipped away during a lunch hour. Working for a rogue cell of Decepticons, serving as an experimental start to Galvatron’s new army, the medic placed the newly created sparks in constructed cold bodies. Wedge was one such bot whose world started out as cold and violent.
Brought to the old gladiator arenas, he watched with fear as several mechs were given a crash course, and many being killed when they couldn’t hack it. Fortunately, the younglings were told they would be taught things first as some of them were too young in spirit to partake. It was for the first ten years of his life that Wedge spent, slowly becoming detached from the constant beatings, being berated, and degraded to “toughen him up”. Just before he was scheduled to start true training, a tip off to what was going on brought a team to raid the radical group, Optimus Prime among them.
Those that wished to avoid being caught in the whole ordeal backed down however, and it was Wedge who encouraged some of his fellows to hide away safely until it was over. Displaying a knack for rescue work, Optimus took note of the young mech’s strong spirit and helped get the younglings to former Council member Maxima’s care. It was here the red and blue mech encouraged Wedge to seek something greater, suggesting the Rescue Bots Program. But, it took Wedge several months to work up the courage to do so, taking time to get over the gruesome sights he had seen and went into construction for a time.
Eventually, Wedge applied to join a contest to get into the first Earth academy for rescuers. Many applied, even seasoned students, and Wedge was chosen to participate in this contest based on the interest of a Construction bot remotely being as such. Much to everyone’s shock, Wedge got the top marks in everything, especially ingenuity that captured Heatwave’s attention who was there as a judge. With seeing such skill for someone not formally taught, the fire truck extended the invitation and Wedge became the first of the first ever recruiting class, followed by Medix, Hoist, and Whirl. Not long after, they would be joined by Hotshot.
From that moment on, the team trained and learned together, having to learn to work as a team and Wedge would eventually have to learn to work with Hotshot. In fact, the two would eventually become the best of friends and learn the most personally from one another. Many times, Wedge acted as de facto leader for the team but also took time to learn to trust them, more so with his secret. Their training went well and they became close, able to work in unison without constant arguing or blaming the other. Wedge also learned to tone down his idolizing of Bumblebee, whom became a mentor and close friend to the young bot of whom Wedge feels has had the most impact on his life, and his friends proving that minds can change when he came out as a Decepticon for the sake of Lazerbeak’s health. Wedge’s adventures have gone so far as to find and befriend a long lost Titan the he and his friends keep a guarded secret as to not disturb him except on occasion.
Now, years later, Wedge graduated and is a fully recognized Rescue Bot. He works closely with the human, Wes, whom convinced him from their younger years to work as a team. This going Con has since become well-known for defying the expectations of someone on his previous occupation and build, much less being the very first Con to be acknowledged for the program that he takes in stride. These days, Wedge is often around Griffin Rock and the Academy, working rescues on Earth, acting as teacher, and advocate for proving Decepticons can be more than people believe.
