Name: Sv-19001
Nickname: Rynse
Age: Mentally, late 20s. Physically? Technically 112 years.
Faction: Decepticon
Primary residence: Cybertron
Alternate mode:
Holo form:
Special abilities/weapons:
Throwing Knives/Daggers: Rynse has an arsenal of hand-to-hand combat weapons on his person. The knives he carries range from explosive knives, to blades with boomer rang effects, to knives that eject smoke, and poison tipped knives. He normally carries around 48 blades within his subspace and concealed on his person.
Reflexes: Rynse can react to gunshots and counter strikes with astounding prowess.
Flexibility: Rynse’s upper chest and pelvic girdle are posed on a sphere-like torso, enabling Rynse to achieve poses other cybertronians would think impossible. All his joints are double-jointed, his wrists and torso can rotate 360 degrees with ease. He can pose with matched flexibility, strength and grace.
EMP immunity: Rynse cannot be knocked out by EMPs, or affected by them. Shooting an emp at Rynse is about as effective as shooting him with a water-gun.
—
Personality:
Rynse has two ‘Masks’ or ‘hats’ he switches between.
Work: Rynse typically takes a no-nonsense approach but can be one to quip if he has a companion willing to do so with him. During his job cycle, Rynse dons a motivated and aware attitude for his surroundings. Since he knows his cuty as a body-guard/personal fighter leaves him little room for error, he is willing to fully put himself at risk for the mech/femme he is protecting. Simulations have hardened any doubt Rynse once had in his ability to react to fire, or deflect an on-coming bullet. Killing isn’t something Rynse typically enjoys, however training from Backfire has shown Rynse justifies complete disregard for other lifeforms as long as his client is saved.
Chill: Rynse is curious about other life. It’s believed he has a more refined mode simply so others don’t recognize the threat of allowing him knowledge. Knowledge the mech unconsciously stows away for later for future reference. Rynse is always willing to learn something new about anyone or anything—though to him it’s never about killing or about his job. Rynse is fascinated and curious about everything, and often comes off as slightly naive and innocent to facts.
A few consistencies spanning across his two-faced character is Rynse’s loyalty and sense of duty to his job and to his client. Once a client, always a client, especially if they’re nice. He also likes making friends, though he isn’t entirely sure how to. He hasn’t been outside of the lab much, and living in simulations for his entire development makes interaction slightly tricky business for him.
History:
The Sv-19 series were the first manufactured drone to have distinct personalities. Their purpose was to match an assassin in wit, capability, durability, and versatility in order to properly protect their clients. They were creatures of reverse psychology, to defend clients from assassination the Sv-19 series would think like them. However, few were ever created, much less tested. Their positronic-processor modules proved to be tricky to groom. A large error in the Sv-19constructon and blueprint was the sheer amount of time it took to arrange the subconscious of the AI, and the correlation it had to the conscious. If room for a personality trait was allowed, random traits began to develop, and take root. Most units would begin to fall prey to the practice of keeping track of how many precise things they did right and how many exact tasks they did wrong. A drone would begin to tally-mark their deeds on their left and right. Their wrongs would be deeper cuts; self-administered discipline. Rights were like painted stripes. Suffice to say, most models began inflicting too much pain upon themselves, or took to suicide as the psychological approach to ‘good’ or ‘bad’ caused them to simply hate existing, or think they could never do a good enough job.
The drone was deemed unworthwhile and too prone to self-harm. The blue print was nearly destroyed in a terrible lab incident involving multiple Sv-19s endeavoring to kill themselves and others, in an insane competition to reach display their capabilities to be ‘good’ or ‘effective’ or ‘earn the most stripes’.
----
Years later, a determined, detail-oriented scientist found the remains of the blueprints, and transformed the graphs of the Sv-19 series into something that functioned with a positronic brain—yet he fabricated algorithms keeping the positronic brain module and personality coding in a safe yet incredibly flexible loop or restraint. The scientist, Backfire rebranded the creation as his own, and with the hefty modifications, the Sv-19 blueprint was indeed full of potential once more.
Rynse was the first drone of many yet to come. A prototype taking over a few decades to modify and create. His processor and artificial spark were created first, and immediately sent into a playlist of simulations. Another Ai monitored the new lifeform as it began its journey to becoming a fully developed and rounded person. When an unsalvageable emotional scar was caused, it could be overridden and erased. When a negative personality trait began developing, it was analyzed before being uprooted, or adapted and integrated. Nothing was beyond Backfire’s diligence.
As a result, the Sv-19 drone was named ‘Rynse’ as in ‘rinse and repeat,’ due to his extensive time in testing. Rynse eventually learned the meaning behind his name, and took pride in it, since being given a name by his maker meant he was worth investing in. Finally the entity was provided a body inspired by a warrior previously in Backfire’s employ. =

Backfire: Rynse recognizes and respects his creator, and appreciates the time and patience the scientist had to create him. Rynse will never admit it, but he has dim memories of the beginning--and how he required many, many, many revisions. He can't remember what they are, but he knows his manufacturer is beyond diligent.
Other creations: Rynse sees most of Backfire's other creations as more or less friend material, depending on their intelligence. He won't ever disrespect a creation though.
